Guangdong Longju Automobile Company Ltd. is the manufacturing arm of Metro Tow Trucks Ltd. Established in 2006 by CEO and founder Webb Wehbe, Longju is operated by and manufactures exclusively for Metro Tow Trucks. Our wreckers, flatbeds, rotators and trailers have been shipped to more than 30 countries around the world.Originally, it was Mr. Wehbe’s intention to simply import wreckers from China. These plans failed very quickly when the quality of the top Chinese wrecker manufacturers fell far short of the quality expected in North America and Europe. His only option was to being manufacturing in China himself. Why build tow trucks? Mr. Wehbe has been an owner and operator of one of the largest fleets of tow trucks in Canada for more than 26 years. He and his family know tow trucks inside and out. When you buy a Metro Tow Trucks wrecker from Metro in Canada or Longju in China, you are buying a product from an actual experienced operator who has a genuine love for the industry.Longju controls every aspect of the manufacturing process. We start with our own 3d drawings in Solidworks. These drawings are reviewed, revised and tested for structural strength using ANSYS finite element analysis. Eventually drawings are sent to the factory floor for CNC cutting, CNC machining, bending, welding and assembly. Wreckers are send out by shipping container as kits or in roll-on roll-off boats as fully installed units. Chassis are available from North America, Europe, Japan or China. We rely as little as possible on other manufacturers. Anything that we can make in-house is made by us. This allows us to control our quality. Our QC department inspects every single product during every stage of the production and tests completed units before shipping.
